SNOWFLAKE Project
Analysis tool for filmmakers and film producers
The Challenge
Designing logotype and coherent – simple in form – graphic conception for tool which is helpful for the film industry, consisting of 4 functional parts. This project included also preparing the Universal Design System, through which it is easier to prepare new functionalities without designing new elements.
Transparent User Interface concept
Particular emphasis was placed on the development of clear application screens and navigation, so that user can easily navigate through whole application. Adoption modern white – sky set of colors refers to actually design trends as well as the use of fashionable tabs, sliders and input fields.
Additional for this project was designed state of interaction like a tooltip for search mechanism, a modern check boxes style, context menus, hover states for the whole input fields and buttons.For the whole User Interface concept, it was developed Design System for unify appearance and application of all funconality.
Video database views
A special case of this project was the preparation of views for adding, editing and browsing the database of film productions. A process of adding films to the database it took place automatically or manual by adding data through web form with a lot of input fields. The principle that proved was to first add the minimum amount of data and then eventually add optional fields after expanding list, thus the forms it proved to be simple and fast.
